About the Practice

The inner agora is the heart of self-inquiry

Sometimes pain accumulates beneath the urgency and routine of a busy life. Making space for questions that examine your struggles requires time and courage.

In ancient Greece, Socrates often walked the agora, inviting Athenians into searching dialogue about life, meaning, and the nature of the good — conversations that demanded the courage to look inward with honesty.

At Inner Agora Counselling, the agora symbolizes the space within where your questions and values take shape — where thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and ideas about who you are and what matters most are explored in light of new experiences.

In therapy, we expand that space through a trusting, collaborative relationship — inviting you to pause, reflect, and return to what matters most.

More About The Practice

Services

Support for reflection, healing, and meaningful change

Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or a quiet but persistent sense that something more is possible, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, your values, and what matters most.

At Inner Agora Counselling, I offer one-on-one sessions for those seeking more than short-term coping — space to reflect, heal, and live with meaning. My approach is thoughtful, values-based, and rooted in the belief that life’s biggest questions deserve space.

I offer 60-minute therapy sessions, in person (Saskatoon) or online (Canada), for adults and adolescents experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • Grief, loss, and existential crises

  • Trauma, dysregulation, and emotional pain

  • Identity exploration and life transitions

  • Climate anxiety and ecological grief

My approach is grounded in existential therapy, informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, narrative techniques, somatic practices, and solutions-focused strategies.

About Me

To know oneself deeply takes courage

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over 17 years supporting adult learners at the University of Saskatchewan— teaching philosophy and leading mentorship and community-building programs.

I hold two degrees in Philosophy (BA Honours; MA) and I’m currently completing a second MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (expected December 2025). I anticipate receiving my Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) designation shortly after graduation.

I bring curiosity, care, compassion, and depth to each therapeutic relationship, and I would be honoured to support you in asking the questions that matter most.
